WestJet launched its new twice-weekly seasonal service from Toronto to San Juan, Puerto Rico. The inaugural flight departs from Toronto Pearson International Airport's Terminal 3. Service between Toronto and San Juan, Puerto Rico will operate Saturdays and Sundays from November 5, 2011, to April 28, 2012.

American Airlines has launched a frequent flyer agreement with oneworld® member-elect Kingfisher Airlines, allowing members of each airline's loyalty program to earn and redeem miles on each other's network. Under this new agreement, American Airlines AAdvantage® members can earn and redeem miles for travel on all Kingfisher flights within India, and between India and Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Kingfisher King Club members can now earn King Miles on all American Airlines flights throughout Asia, Europe, North America, and South America.

United will permit one bag plus one personal item, per customer to be carried on the aircraft at no charge. The maximum combined linear measurement (length + width + height) of carry-on bags must not exceed 14 inches x 9 inches x 22 inches (23 x 35 x 56 cm) or 45 linear inches (114 cm).
